On 2 & 3 November 2023, the Regional Directorate of Education of Eastern Macedonia-Thrace participated, in Iasi, Romania, in the kick-off meeting of the ERASMUS+ Project entitled: "Neurodivergence and the risk of school bullying - NB&SB".

The coordinator of the NB&SB project is Suntem Diferiți pentru Copii Diferiți (Romania), with partners Progetto Crescere Società Cooperativa Sociale (Italy) and the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education An. Macedonia-Thrace EMTh RDE(Greece) and its duration is from 1/11/2023 to 31/10/2025.

The ND&SB project aims to enhance the knowledge and competences of parents, both neuro-typical and neuro-atypical children, on bullying prevention issues and promote an inclusive school environment. In particular, the aim of the project is to detect the educational needs of parents, create appropriate educational material and train them to clarify aspects of school bullying, its impact on children's well-being and its prevention. In addition, the project aims to improve communication between parents and school staff by encouraging strong partnerships, enhancing parents' active participation in their children's educational activities and taking a key role in preventing bullying.
